Mission
Statement:
The
New England School of Homeopathy (NESH) was created in 1987 to translate
homeopathic philosophy into the successful and predictable practice of
medicine. Our goal is for practitioners of homeopathy to fulfill their
potential role in health care - to help people attain freedom from illness
on the mental, emotional, and physical planes so they may better realize
their highest aspirations.
To fulfill this
mission, the program and materials of NESH strive to:
1. Exemplify the
highest purpose and achievement in the field of homeopathic medicine.
NESH aims to inspire the greater homeopathic community to
join in this endeavor, and to encourage and assist the non-homeopathic
community in the exploration of and participation in homeopathy.
2.
Commit the full energies of NESH to provide each participant with
the tools required for the successful practice of homeopathy in a thorough
and expedient manner.
3. Provide a philosophical
foundation based on the principles of classical homeopathy.
4. Establish
a practical technical foundation essential to the successful practice
of homeopathy.
5. Transform homeopathic
theory into predictable clinical results.
6. Provide materials
which are clinically significant and immediately applicable.
7. Communicate
actual experience. All materials bearing the NESH name have been
clinically verified by the presenter.
The vehicles for
accomplishment of these objectives are:
1. Professional
classes designed:
1. to educate the
beginning practitioner in the effective application of homeopathy,
and
2. to enhance the
practicing homeopath’s knowledge,
so that he or she may deliver consistently favorable results.
The course also fosters the acquisition
of techniques which will enable the practitioner to continue
to learn from his/her own experience.
2. Publishing of
the Herscu Letter where students and practitioners can learn the Cycles & Segments
approach modeled in lecture format.
3. A clinical setting
for practitioners to support the transition from student to practicing
clinician.
4. An ongoing forum
offering participants the opportunity to transition from clinician
to teacher.
5. Seminars presented
by clinicians with expertise in a specialized area of homeopathy.
6.
Publication of reference texts which are relevant for the continuing
education of homeopathic physicians
and
patients.
7. Classes for the
community at large which illuminate homeopathic theory and application,
and encourage
the growth of a patient
population well-educated
in the practice of homeopathy.
8. Maintain an
up-to-date website with information for perspective patients of homeopathy
and for
perspective and current students.
